Inspired by the oprah winfrey book club

So many of us grew up loving to read, recommending books to friends and discussing the better ones.

Life progressed, we pursued careers and our families grew. Sometimes our passion for reading took a backseat to everyday life.

When Oprah began the Oprah Winfrey Book Club back in 1996, she helped us remember the pleasure reading gave us and we started actively reading again. We've belonged to a variety of book clubs & reading groups over the years and it's become an important part of our lives.

This site is dedicated to the passion of reading and helping people continue to indulge in reading and discussing literature and popular fiction. And we are forever grateful to Oprah Winfrey, who gave so many of us permission to spend time with the simple joy of reading.
